We met up with Elite Runner, Sara Sutherland, at one of her favorite trailheads in Boulder – Bobolink – to see what she does to recover before her post-run hunger sets in. If you’ve never learned how to monster walk this is your chance.
“I have unfortunately been dealing with a little bit of the evil plantar fasciitis and so this R8, who was already a good friend of mine, has become kinda like a best friend. The first thing I do is really try to get into my soleus muscle and gastrocnemius muscle in the calf to make sure I’m keeping those really loose.” – Sara
