Meet Jackson Brill
Jackson is a Salomon sponsored ultra trail runner training in our back yard – Colorado! We met up with him at the top of one of his favorites – Flagstaff Trail – to learn more about some of his go-to products.
When and where do you use the ROLL Recovery R8?
I generally use the R8 most days to assess if any of my leg muscles are unusually tight or sore. Scientific literature has shown that most people’s muscles feel less soreness if they roll post-exercise, so even if I don’t find any problem areas, I still think using the R8 as part of my recovery routine helps me feel better day-to-day.
What do you like about the Salomon Sense Ride 2?
The Sense Ride 2’s have a lot of cushioning, but still feel fast and light. Consequently, this shoe could be used as an everyday trainer and/or for tackling a long ultra like a 100 miler.
