There is a lot more than meets the eye when it comes to Francisco's story, which is exactly why we wanted to #DigDeeper into it.
Having been diagnosed with two different types of cancer before the age of 30, Francisco has faced and overcome more adversity than the average person experiences in a lifetime, all while exceeding at his sport and teaching it to others, starting his own business, and starting a family.
Francisco is an inspiration in the dance community and beyond and we are excited to share his story with you.
"There were times when I would think to myself 'what have I done to deserve this twice or deserve it at all?' and you're allowed to have that human emotional response to it, but for the most part I would say yes, dance not only helped because it's a network but performing is like that as well, you're problem solving. Not everything can go exactly as planned."
