What is the heel-to-toe drop on the SUPERPLUSH™ Footwear?

The SUPERPLUSH™ footwear line, which consists of shoes, slides and flipflops, has a heel to toe drop of 6mm-8mm depending on which size and model.  However, because you step on and apply weight closer to the heel and with an elevated arch, the heel-to-toe drop is less noticeable.  This is due to softer material that compresses. Whereas a running shoe heel-to-toe drop is much more structured, so the heel-to-toe drop (typically 10mm) is more discernible. 

Why do you include a slight heel-to-toe drop?

We include a slight heel-to-toe drop because it helps reduce strain on the achilles tendon. Also, the gentle heel lift, combined with elevated arch support, provides added cushioning and support for the heel, especially beneficial for conditions like plantar fasciitis.

Why don’t you have any 0-drop footwear in the SUPERPLUSH™ line?

Using a cushioned footbed with a 0mm drop might seem ideal, but under body weight, the heel area tends to compress more than the forefoot. This can create a reverse drop sensation, placing additional stress on the Achilles tendon.

For half-sizes we recommend sizing down. The SUPERPLUSH Slides have a generous & spacious fit to help your foot spread and relax.
